Driver Angel Velez from Secaucus, NJ helped a wheelchair-bound motorist park and was recognized by a passerby for his efforts. 
When Angel Velez saw a motorist in need of assistance, he knew he had to step in and help. “I had just arrived to make a delivery, and I noticed the person was in a tight parking spot,” explained Angel. “I hopped out to help.” 

"Once the driver parked, Angel noticed that he had a wheelchair. Angel helped put the wheelchair together and made sure the driver was angel velezcomfortable.

Angel has been driving for Ferguson for more than four years, and was on his usual delivery route when he noticed the driver attempting to squeeze into a small space.  

"Once the driver parked, I noticed that he had a wheelchair," said Angel. "I helped put the wheelchair together and made sure he was comfortable." 

A passerby noticed his actions and took the time to email Ferguson about the good deed. The email read i n part: 

“I would like to give recognition to this person, because I saw a genuine caring individual that represents your company and cares about the people in the community in which he was serving. 

"I have to applaud this because I think this is what we need in today's society. Little things like this really count, and I am happy this person is representing your organization.”

"Angel’s advice to other associates? “Always make time to help others,” he said. “That could be you or me one day.”
