My name is Vanessa Caroccia. I am so honored to be one of the recipients of the Local 282 Scholarship. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude towards your investment into my future. As one of this year's recipients, I am grateful for the opportunities this award will provide me. With the help of my father's union, Local 282, I will be studying Advertising and Marketing Communications at The Fashion Institute of Technology. I am proud to represent my family, and the Union as I begin this next chapter of my life. Receiving this scholarship has put me one step closer toward my goal of a higher education.
